TOMOJI HAKUNO

Artistic director of Aoyama Flower Market Paris Tomoji Hakuno was born in 1965 in Osaka. As a university student, he began working in a florist’s shop where he was introduced to a new discipline: “chabana”, a flower arrangement designed to accompany the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. Seduced by this spirit, he decided to make it his specialty. In 2000, he joined AOYAMA FLOWERMARKET, the largest florist group in Japan. Within AOYAMA FLOWER MARKET, he developed the “Lifestyle Bouquet” branch, which now has 96 outlets in Japan and sells daily picked flowers. Since September 2015, he has been working to transmit this spirit of flowers outside of Japan and has taken over the recently opened AOYAMA FLOWER MARKET PARIS, located 96, rue du Bac in the 7th arrondissement.
